Whether you’re healing pelvic pain, navigating a major life transition, or learning to stop apologising for what you need, the work is the same: coming home to your body.
I’m Sylvie Barak. I’m a somatic sex educator, sexological bodyworker, and former professional dominatrix. I combine hands-on bodywork, nervous system science, and a deep understanding of power dynamics to help you stop performing and start embodying.
- Sex hurts - and no one can tell you why or how to fix it
- You feel disconnected from your body, your desire, or your sense of who you are
- You're postpartum, perimenopausal, or navigating a transition that's left you feeling like a stranger in your own skin
- You understand your patterns intellectually, but you can't seem to change them
- You're a practitioner who over-gives, under-charges, and feels drained by your clients
- You want more than talk therapy - you want to actually feel different in your body
You’re not broken. You’re not “too much.” And these skills can be learned.
Most approaches try to change your mind and hope your body follows.
I work the other way around.
Your nervous system runs the show. It shapes how you experience trust, pleasure, connection, and confidence. When it’s dysregulated, you can know what you want and still not be able to access it. You can understand the pattern and still repeat it.
Somatic work changes the pattern at the source. We work with your body, through breath, touch, movement, and presence. We ensure that safety, pleasure, and power become something you feel, not just something you think about.
I blend:
- Sexological bodywork and STREAM holistic pelvic care — hands-on work to address pain, restore sensation, and release what's stored in your body
- Nervous system regulation — so you can stay present instead of checking out, freezing, or spiralling
- Intimacy and desire coaching — for the relational patterns that keep showing up
- Power dynamics and embodied authority — because knowing what you want means nothing if you can't ask for it

Increase sensation and pleasure.

Mitigate or eliminate pain.

Heal physical and emotional wounds.

Build skills that enhance confidence, connection, and fulfillment.
